A New Year and a New You! Have you achieved the goals you set for yourself in 2018? Do you find it hard to stay motivated? Check out our 3 step method to stay motivated in 2019!

The road to success is never an easy one. Anyone can start the journey to achieving their goals, but not everyone finishes. The path to reaching your goals is usually long and tiring and there will be many obstacles and what seems like insurmountable mountains of problems during your journey. During your journey there will be times you want to give up and during such periods, you need to motivate yourself to stay strong and keep going.
We have come up with 3 steps you can take to keep yourself motivated to pursuing your goals and keep climbing to success.
1. Why are you pursuing this?
Whenever you feel like giving up, the first thing you should do is remind yourself of why you are on this journey. Are you looking for financial freedom? Are you looking to take care of your family?
Reminding yourself of what you are working towards to will help you to stay inspired and stay motivated to continue climbing to your goal.
2. What is your game plan?
The second step to keep motivated is to remind yourself of your game plan. Sometimes, the thought of everything you need to accomplish seems like a huge intimidating mountain to climb. Thus, it is helpful to break everything down into smaller achievable goals and remind yourself to take everything step by step. This makes everything feel more achievable and can help prevent you from feeling overwhelmed and give up.
3. Reward yourself
Sometimes during our journey we get so caught up and obsessed with reaching our goals and getting what we set out for, we forget to remind ourselves of how far we have come. Hard work and perseverance is important, but we also need to reward ourselves at different levels on our way to our goal, to remind ourselves that we have been working hard and seeing results.
Rewarding yourself occasionally when you are doing well allows you to take some time to appreciate how well you are doing and will help you not to lose heart and give up.
